OH MY GOD THE STRIPES Ahh yes, in America it's the fourth of July isn't it? The most patriotic day of the year. Celebrating independence from British rule. I might just watch the 'Independence Day' teen titans episode for lols P Well, if there's the occasional picture like this one (that's hopefully really good too) then I'm fine but if my entire inbox is flooded with 4th July American flags I'm going to be a little pissed off. We don't flood the interwebz on our own special days. But everywhere I've ever looked on the internet on the 4th July has been invaded with American flags and a little British-aimed racism. (Then again I'm talking about places like online games that are already filled with innumerable 12-year-old racists from any country) Well, now I'm going to stop talking about *my biased and limited view of* Independence day and start discussing THIS AWESOME PICTURE! Finn and Jae look great. So do the two girls. I ove that BOWTIE that Jake has on. PB's stripey stripey dress is a little over-the-top though. xD Hurts the eye against the already present stripes. Marceline's dress is epic. Radiates Marceline in a small way. Finn - HATCEPTION o_o What are the possibilities of them actually celebrating Fourth July? They currently celebrate Christmas non-religiously. xD Perhaps the Candy Kingdom, or Ooo even, has an equivalent date, but 4th July itself will be pointless even by the perspectives of those who remember it (nuclear destruction and everything sort of contradicting the specialty of it). Isn't North America blown off the surface of the world right now?
dude u are awesome! u always go so in depth with ur comments! anyway, what u said about them having their own independence day is still very likely. Most countries have one so even after the "mushroom wars" some holidays would probably still exist.
Cheers. I generally type EXTREMELY LONG comments when I get thinking about something. Well, in Britain we don't have an independence day.
America doesn't exist anymore in Adventure Time so the 4th July celebrations won't be about America unless Marceline is feeling very patriotic which is unlikely because she'd be a part of the country that destroyed the world. If she was American to begin with.
From 'Holly Jolly Secrets', we know that Christmas has been long forgotten, and at the end of Part 2 they arranged for something similar to Christmas but non-religious to happen every year (by coincidence), so perhaps there are other Coincidence holidays too? Or Ooo holidays? People celebrate birthdays there still.
